Biological Oceanography Department
is mandated to study the interaction between living resources and the
physical and chemical characteristics of the coastal and inshore brackish
and marine ecosystems.
Specific Mandates / Functions:
- Focus on marine ecology with
emphasis on the life supporting potential
of our marine waters in general and the extent to which they
can sustain
commercial stocks.
